When we decided to move from our Michigan lakehouse back to Illinois to be near our family we had no idea of who to contact. We had been gone from Illinois since 1998. I doubt that the complicated process of selling and then buying a home is often so pleasurable as we experienced with our realtor, Kathy Saunders. She showed us potential new homes a year or so before we were actually ready to sell the home we'd inhabited for a quarter-century. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she showed our home while we were temporarily away on business. When the time came to look for a new home, she found the PERECT match for us right off the bat. In retrospect, I credit her with excellent knowledge and experience, with an excellent work ethic, with thoughtfulness, patience, and kindness. Kathy and her team exceeded our expectations at every opportunity. Because we were out of town during the transaction, Kathy applied for permits, set up appointments and met with contractors, met inspectors, coordinated an estate sale and donation, and prepared the house for the buyer.
