Brookstone Golf & Country Club occupies a rolling site in Acworth, Georgia, where bentgrass fairways weave between stands of pine and hardwood. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, and it opened in 1989. Water hazards come into play on ten holes, most notably at the par-4 fourth, where a pond guards the left side of the landing area and the green, and again on the par-5 fourteenth, which bends around a lake that forces a carry on both the second and third shots. Elevation changes reach as much as forty feet between tee and green on several holes, producing downhill approaches that play longer than the measured distance. The practice facility includes a double-ended driving range, short-game area, and putting green adjacent to the clubhouse. The property is bordered on the north by Lake Acworth, whose shoreline is visible from several elevated tees but does not directly intersect play.
Brookstone Golf & Country Club currently has (within 1 mile) 29 single family homes for sale with an average list price of $773,472.07.
