Dye Course at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie was designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1996. The layout features his signature deep bunkers, railroad-tie walls, and undulating greens that slope sharply away from water hazards. Tall native grasses frame the fairways, creating narrow landing areas that require precise shot placement. The course includes several island greens, most notably at the par-three 17th, where a single bunker and railroad ties guard the front edge. A creek winds through the back nine, forcing players to carry water on multiple approaches. The Bermuda grass greens are firm and fast, with multiple tiers and false fronts that reject shots landing short. Wind is a consistent factor, blowing across open stretches of the property and altering club selection on exposed holes. The combination of penal bunkering, angled green complexes, and water hazards demands both accuracy and course management throughout the round.
