The back nine opens onto former pasture, where prevailing winds move left to right and affect club selection on several approaches. Bermuda grass covers the fairways, while TifEagle covers the greens, producing firm, fast surfaces that hold only when approached from below the hole. Drainage canals run parallel to several holes, and low-lying areas can remain damp after heavy rain. The course maintains a driving range with both natural turf and mats, and a short-game area with two practice greens. Maintenance crews mow rough to graduated heights, creating distinct bands of penalty between fairway and native vegetation.
