Falcon Dunes Golf Club sits in the desert northwest of Phoenix in Waddell, Arizona, where the terrain transitions from flat creosote flats to low rocky ridges. The course winds through natural desert washes and around stands of mature saguaro, with fairways edged by native brush and boulders. Greens are built to USGA standards and overseeded with rye in winter. The layout places several holes along the base of the White Tank Mountains, exposing players to consistent afternoon breezes. Water hazards appear on four holes, fed by irrigation ponds that also serve as wildlife habitat. Cart paths are asphalt and follow the natural grade rather than cutting straight lines. The practice facility includes a double-ended range and short-game area with sand and chipping greens. The clubhouse is a single-story adobe-style structure with a grill and pro shop; no lodging is on site. Maintenance crews aerate greens twice yearly and verticut fairways monthly during the growing season.
