Fiddlesticks Country Club occupies a 400-acre site in south Fort Myers. The main clubhouse, completed in 1983, features a stucco-and-tile exterior and interior woodwork from pecky cypress. Two 18-hole courses, the Long Mean and the Wee Friendly, were designed by Ronald Garl and opened for play in 1984. Both courses are lined with stands of slash pine and bald cypress and cross several man-made lakes. The club also maintains a driving range, practice greens, and a short-game area. Membership is limited to property owners within the surrounding Fiddlesticks community and their invited guests. The club house dining room serves lunch and dinner daily and hosts private events. Tennis courts, a fitness center, and a lap pool are located on the same property.
