Hawk’s View Golf Club sits on gently rolling terrain just outside Lake Geneva. The fairways weave through stands of mature hardwoods and open meadows, with native grasses framing several landing areas. Water hazards appear on eight holes, most notably a pond that guards the front of the 18th green and a creek that crosses the 9th and 12th fairways. Elevation changes are modest but noticeable, especially on the back nine where several tee boxes sit above the landing zones. Greens are bentgrass and maintained at a moderate speed, with subtle contouring rather than severe slopes. Bunkers are primarily pot-style, edged with fescue and placed to penalize approaches that miss the correct side of the green. Cart paths are asphalt and kept close to the holes, minimizing interference with natural drainage. The course favors accurate shot placement over length, particularly on holes that dogleg around mature oak trees or skirt wetland areas.
