IronCrest Country Club sits on rolling terrain just west of downtown Ocala. The 18-hole layout, designed by Arnold Palmer, combines open fairways with clusters of live oaks and pines that frame most greens. Elevation changes reach nearly forty feet between the highest and lowest points, creating a variety of approach angles and natural drainage. A central lake system serves both irrigation and several water hazards, while scattered bunkers of compacted shell sand define landing areas. The clubhouse, completed in 2005, features a shingle roof and wide verandas that overlook the eighteenth green and practice putting green. Adjacent facilities include a short-game area with multiple chipping stations and a driving range equipped with both natural turf and artificial mats. Membership is limited to property owners within the surrounding community, and the club maintains its own fleet of carts and a full-time agronomy staff.
