Isleworth Country Club sits on the shores of Lake Butler in Windermere, Florida. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and opened in 1986. Water comes into play on fourteen holes, including several that border the lake itself. The layout features wide fairways lined with mature oak and pine trees, and the Bermuda grass greens are large with subtle breaks. Fairway bunkers are placed to catch errant tee shots, while greenside bunkers guard most putting surfaces. The clubhouse, built in a Mediterranean-revival style, contains a pro shop, locker rooms, and dining facilities. A driving range with target greens sits adjacent to the first tee. Maintenance crews keep the turf conditions consistent year-round through regular aeration, topdressing, and controlled irrigation schedules.
