Mirabel Golf Club sits on the northern edge of Scottsdale at the base of the McDowell Mountains. The course was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2001. Its fairways run through a mix of desert washes and rocky outcrops, with several holes crossing small arroyos that flow only after heavy rain. Bermudagrass greens are kept firm and fast year-round, and the club maintains a caddie program that members and guests may use. A large practice facility includes a short-game area with multiple target greens and a bunker complex that mirrors the course’s sand hazards. The clubhouse, finished in stucco and local stone, houses a pro shop, a grill room, and locker rooms finished in mesquite. Water is drawn from on-site wells and treated for irrigation, a measure the club cites in its annual environmental report. Membership is private, and play is limited to members and their accompanied guests.
