Nest Golf Club sits on the eastern edge of Bonita Springs, its fairways threaded between native cypress stands and tidal wetlands that connect to the Imperial River. The course was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 2005 as part of a private residential community. Its routing alternates between open, wind-exposed stretches and tighter corridors lined with slash pines and saw palmetto. Several holes play across or alongside brackish water, where tidal movement can affect both lies and wind direction. The greens are planted with TifEagle bermudagrass and are maintained at relatively firm speeds. A compact practice facility includes a short-game area with multiple target greens and a covered hitting bay. The clubhouse, finished in contemporary Florida vernacular, houses a 60-seat dining room, locker rooms, and a small pro shop. Membership is by invitation only and limited to property owners within the Nest community.
