Old Memorial Golf Club occupies a 270-acre site in northwest Tampa that was once a working citrus grove. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and opened in 1996. It remains a private club with a single 18-hole layout that winds through stands of live oak and tall pines, with several fairways bordered by the Hillsborough River. The routing alternates between open, wind-exposed stretches and tighter corridors where mature trees and sand bunkers pinch landing areas. Water hazards appear on eight holes, most notably on the par-5 18th, where a pond guards the front-left portion of the green. The greens are built to T-1 bentgrass specifications and are firm and fast year-round. A modest but functional practice facility includes a double-ended range and short-game area adjacent to the clubhouse.
