Prentice Golf Club sits on gently rolling terrain just outside the small northern Wisconsin town of Prentice. The course uses the surrounding landscape of mixed hardwood forest and open meadow, with several fairways running along the edges of low-lying wetlands. The layout features a mix of shorter par-3s and longer par-4s that require precise shot placement rather than distance. A small creek crosses the property, creating natural water hazards on two holes. The greens are modest in size, with subtle undulations that demand careful reading. Mature pines line several holes, narrowing the landing areas, while a few holes open to broader, wind-exposed fairways. The clubhouse is a modest single-story building with a practice green adjacent to the first tee. Maintenance facilities and a cart barn are located behind the clubhouse, screened by trees. The course is owned and operated by the Village of Prentice and serves both local residents and visitors traveling through Price County.
