The course was originally designed by Dick Wilson and opened in 1967 as Harder Hall Golf Club before being redeveloped in the late 1990s under the direction of Bob von Hagge and Bruce Devlin. Its layout features Bermuda-grass fairways that slope toward water on thirteen holes and large, undulating greens that are overseeded each winter. The resort property includes a 138-room hotel built in the 1920s that anchors the entrance and a separate clubhouse with a practice range and short-game area. The resort hosts the annual Harder Hall Invitational, a women’s collegiate event established in 1970, and the course remains open to resort guests and local members year-round.
