The House on the Rock Resort and Golf Club occupies a wooded ridge above the Wyoming Valley in Spring Green, Wisconsin. The property centers on an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, with bent-grass fairways and greens that follow the natural contours of the terrain. A practice facility includes a driving range and short-game area bordered by mature hardwoods. Guest accommodations consist of two- and three-story buildings finished in cedar siding and native stone; many rooms offer private balconies overlooking the valley. Indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a full-service spa are located within the main lodge. The resort also provides meeting spaces and a restaurant that serves regional cuisine. The site is situated roughly ten miles north of Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s former studio, and about thirty-five miles west of Madison.
