The Preserve at Oak Meadows occupies rolling terrain in Addison, Illinois, where mature oaks and scattered wetlands shape each fairway. The course mixes open stretches with tighter corridors, forcing players to manage wind and elevation changes on several holes. Water hazards appear on five greens, including a pond that guards the approach to the par-three thirteenth. Bunkers cluster around most landing areas and greens, often placed at angles that reward precise shot placement rather than distance. Native fescue and prairie grasses frame the edges of many holes, creating natural boundaries that penalize errant shots. The layout alternates between doglegs that bend sharply left or right and straighter holes that demand controlled fades or draws. Cart paths follow the perimeter of the property, keeping play moving efficiently while preserving turf conditions.
