Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club sits on the banks of the Mississippi River in western Wisconsin, where the course follows the natural topography of a river valley. The layout moves through stands of oak and hickory, across open prairie, and along steep limestone bluffs that rise above the fairways. Several holes play directly beside the river, and prevailing west winds can affect play on those holes. The club maintains bentgrass greens and fairways, with a practice range and short-game area adjacent to the clubhouse. The pro shop and restaurant occupy a modest building overlooking the first tee. The course is open to the public and hosts local tournaments throughout the season.
