Hermosa is located on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. Originally called Kelvyn Grove, it was already called Hermosa, meaning "beautiful" in Spanish, when annexed to the city in 1889. Hermosa includes the neighborhoods of Belmont Gardens, and Kelvyn Park.
