Arlington Heights Memorial Park occupies 76 acres at the southern edge of the village, providing residents with direct access to organized sports and open space. The park includes six lighted baseball diamonds, a multi-purpose turf field, and a playground with rubber surfacing. A 1.2-mile paved loop accommodates walking, jogging, and cycling, while a separate crushed-stone path circles the central pond used for catch-and-release fishing. The park’s northern section contains a reservable picnic shelter with restrooms and drinking fountains. Visitors reach the site via the Lake-Cook Road corridor, which connects to Metra’s Union Pacific Northwest Line at Arlington Heights station in under ten minutes by car. Adjacent commercial corridors along Rand Road and Northwest Highway supply grocery, dining, and retail options within a three-mile radius. The park is maintained by the Arlington Heights Park District and remains open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
