Arrow Wood Park in Aurora, IL features a 1.5-mile paved trail system that connects directly to the larger Fox River Trail network, giving residents an extended route for walking, running, and cycling. The park includes two lighted tennis courts, a playground with rubberized surfacing, and a large shelter equipped with electrical outlets and restrooms. A fishing pond stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is located on the east side of the park, while a native prairie restoration area on the west side provides seasonal wildflower displays. The park is located within one mile of the Orchard Road exit on I-88 and less than two miles from the Aurora Countryside YMCA and the Phillips Park Zoo. A dog park with separate areas for small and large breeds is located at the southeast corner, with direct access from the parking lot.
