Bainbridge Greens, Naperville, IL

Bainbridge Greens is a 20-acre park that runs along the DuPage River in southwest Naperville. The park’s main feature is a paved multi-use trail that connects directly to the larger DuPage River Trail, giving residents a continuous route for walking, running, or cycling that extends several miles both north and south. A wooden boardwalk crosses a wetland area, and an adjacent open meadow is maintained for informal field sports. Picnic shelters with grills and restrooms sit near the parking lot, and a small fishing overlook provides access to the riverbank. The surrounding neighborhood is within a mile of the Naperville Public Library’s 95th Street branch, the Springbrook Golf Course, and the commercial corridor along 75th Street, which includes grocery stores and restaurants. Commuters reach downtown Naperville or the Metra station via Wehrli Road or 95th Street, both of which have dedicated bike lanes that link to the park’s trail entrance.
