Berkley Park offers Streamwood residents 22 acres of open space with two lighted ball fields, a playground, and a picnic shelter equipped with grills and restrooms. A 1.1-mile paved loop circles the park perimeter, connecting to the 7.2-mile Poplar Creek Trail that extends west to Hoffman Estates and east toward the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve. The park’s northern edge borders a 35-acre retention pond used for catch-and-release fishing, while its southern side faces a stand of mature oak and hickory trees that provide shade for the walking path.
