Beulah Park, Zion, IL

Beulah Park in Zion covers 147 acres of open space with a 1.8-mile paved trail that circles the park and connects to the Des Plaines River Trail. The park includes two lighted baseball fields, a playground with modern equipment, six picnic shelters, and restrooms. Visitors can fish from the shoreline of a stocked 12-acre lake or use the boat launch for non-motorized craft. The surrounding terrain is mostly flat with scattered oak and hickory trees that provide shade along the paths. The park sits three miles west of Illinois Beach State Park and less than two miles from downtown Zion, giving residents quick access to Lake Michigan shoreline trails and local shops. Nearby Route 173 provides a direct route to I-94, shortening commute times to Chicago and Milwaukee.
