Braewood Park occupies 29 acres at the corner of Algonquin Road and Braewood Drive, providing residents with direct access to a 1.4-mile paved loop trail that connects to the 42-mile Fox River Trail. The park’s playground includes modern composite equipment and a separate tot lot with rubber surfacing. Two lighted baseball/softball diamonds and four tennis courts support organized leagues through the Algonquin Parks Foundation. A 4-acre retention pond stocked with bluegill and largemouth bass is open to catch-and-release fishing; adjacent benches and a small picnic shelter overlook the water.
