Breezewald Park, Lake Zurich, IL

Breezewald Park sits on the north shore of Lake Zurich and includes a sand beach, swimming area, and boat launch. A 0.8-mile paved loop trail circles the park and connects to the 5.5-mile Lake Zurich trail system, allowing residents to walk, run, or bike without crossing major roads. The park’s playground, two lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball court, and reservable picnic shelters support both daily exercise and organized gatherings. A fishing pier extends into the lake, and the shoreline offers open views across the water to the tree-lined south shore. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and free parking are located at the main entrance on Breezewald Drive. The park is a short drive from downtown Lake Zurich shops and restaurants, and it lies within the boundaries of the Ela Area Public Library District and the Lake Zurich School District.
