Brookrose Park covers 17 acres in central Roselle and includes two lighted baseball/softball fields, a football field, and three tennis courts. A paved loop trail encircles the park for walking, jogging, and cycling, while a separate playground area contains modern equipment for children ages 2–12. Mature oak and maple trees provide shade along the park’s edges, and a small retention pond attracts migratory waterfowl. The park sits within a half-mile of Roselle’s Metra station and the downtown business district, allowing residents to reach restaurants, shops, and commuter trains without driving. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and ample parking are located near the main entrance on Rush Street. During summer months the park hosts youth sports leagues and occasional outdoor fitness classes organized by the Roselle Park District.
