Buckskin Park, Streamwood, IL

Buckskin Park covers 26 acres in Streamwood and includes a 2.2-mile paved trail that connects to the larger Poplar Creek Trail system. The park has two baseball diamonds, four lighted tennis courts, a playground, and a picnic shelter with restrooms. A small pond supports seasonal fishing, and the open fields are used for soccer and informal recreation. Mature trees line the northern edge, providing shade along the trail and near the playground. The park sits two miles from the Streamwood Park District’s Community Center and aquatic facility, and is within three miles of the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway and Illinois Route 59, giving residents direct routes to Schaumburg’s Woodfield Mall and downtown Elgin.
