Burbank Park, Elk Grove Village, IL

Burbank Park spans 24 acres in Elk Grove Village and includes a playground, two lighted tennis courts, two lighted baseball fields, and a fishing pond stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The park’s 1.1-mile paved loop trail connects to the larger Busse Woods Trail system, providing direct access for cyclists and runners to the 3,700-acre Forest Preserve. Picnic shelters with grills and restrooms are available by reservation, and a seasonal spray pad operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park sits less than one mile from Elk Grove Village’s municipal center and public library, and it is bordered on the north by the 5.6-mile Salt Creek Trail, which extends west to Ned Brown Forest Preserve. Mature oak and maple trees line the perimeter, offering shade along the walking paths and around the central lawn.
