
Carroll F. Snyder Park is a passive recreational park covering five acres. The park was renamed in 1982 to honor former park commissioner Carroll F. Snyder and is home to the historically recognized Bicentennial Tree, a large Bur Oak shading the southwest corner of the property. It was once called Bur Oak Park as it contains Highland Park's oldest Bur Oak.
