Carver Park occupies 40 acres in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood, providing residents with a regulation-size football field, eight lighted tennis courts, and an Olympic-size outdoor pool operated by the Chicago Park District. A 0.6-mile asphalt loop circles the park perimeter, accommodating joggers and cyclists, while interior walking paths connect playgrounds, picnic groves, and a nature area planted with native prairie species. The park’s field house contains a fitness center, gymnasium, and multipurpose rooms used for after-school programs and senior activities.
