Chicago Ridge Prairie in Oak Lawn, IL, is a 26-acre restored tallgrass prairie located between 103rd and 107th Streets, just west of Central Avenue. The preserve features over two miles of mowed trails that wind through native plant communities, including big bluestem, Indian grass, and a variety of wildflowers. A 0.6-mile accessible loop trail provides a shorter route suitable for strollers or mobility devices. The site includes an observation deck overlooking a wet meadow and a small parking area at the south entrance off 107th Street. Its location places it within a short drive of shopping centers along Harlem Avenue and restaurants in downtown Oak Lawn, while remaining buffered from surrounding residential streets by a narrow band of trees.
