Clow Creek Greenway, Naperville, IL

Clow Creek Greenway is a 3-mile paved trail that follows Clow Creek through Naperville’s southwest side, connecting neighborhoods to the larger DuPage County trail network. The path is open to walking, jogging, and cycling, and it links directly to the DuPage River Trail, allowing residents to reach downtown Naperville or the Illinois Prairie Path without driving. The corridor includes three small neighborhood parks—Kingsley Park, Clow Creek Park, and Frontier Park—each equipped with playgrounds, picnic shelters, and restrooms. Open prairie and scattered oak trees line much of the route, providing continuous shade in summer and clear sight lines year-round. The greenway also passes within a few blocks of the 95th Street Public Library branch and several grocery stores along 95th Street, giving residents short, traffic-free access to daily errands. Because the trail is maintained by the Naperville Park District, lighting, signage, and surface repairs are handled on a regular schedule.
