Commonwealth Edison Bikeway is a paved multi-use trail that runs through Woodridge, Illinois, providing residents with direct access to outdoor recreation without leaving the village. The trail connects several neighborhoods to Woodridge Lake, Lake Harriet, and nearby forest preserves, allowing users to walk, run, or cycle on a continuous route that spans several miles. Along the path, riders pass through open green spaces, wooded sections, and maintained parkland. The trail links to additional routes that extend toward the DuPage River and the larger regional network. Local amenities such as playgrounds, picnic shelters, and restrooms are located at access points along the bikeway, including at Janes Avenue Park and Hobson Corner Park. The route also passes close to shopping centers and schools, giving residents practical transportation options in addition to exercise. Because the bikeway is maintained by the village and DuPage County, the surface remains in usable condition year-round, with regular clearing during winter months.
