Connelly Memorial Park spans 14 acres at the corner of Woodside Drive and Town Road in West Chicago. The park features a 1.2-mile paved loop trail suitable for walking, jogging, and cycling, along with an adjacent natural-surface path through wooded areas. Visitors have access to two lighted tennis courts, a playground with climbing structures and swings, and a reservable picnic shelter with adjacent grills. The park also includes a fishing pond stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and a baseball field used by local youth leagues. Mature trees line the perimeter, providing shade along the trails and around the open lawn areas. The park connects directly to the Illinois Prairie Path via a short spur trail, allowing residents to reach downtown West Chicago or travel farther along the regional network. Restrooms and drinking fountains are available year-round, and parking is provided in two lots with a total of 85 spaces.
