Connelly Park, Schaumburg, IL

Connelly Park occupies 17.5 acres at the intersection of Schaumburg Road and Jones Road. The park features a 0.75-mile paved loop trail that connects to the larger Schaumburg Bikeway system, allowing residents to reach the 400-acre Busse Woods Forest Preserve without crossing major roadways. Two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, and two playground structures with rubber surfacing serve active families. A 2.5-acre retention pond stocked annually with bluegill and channel catfish provides shoreline fishing; a 12-station fitness course circles the water. Picnic shelters equipped with grills and electrical outlets are available by reservation through the Schaumburg Park District.
