Cunliff Park, Glenview, IL

Cunliff Park occupies 15 acres at the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Central Road in central Glenview. The park contains two baseball diamonds, a soccer field, a playground with climbing structures, and a picnic shelter with restrooms. A paved loop path measuring approximately three-quarters of a mile encircles the open space and connects to the surrounding sidewalk network, allowing residents to walk or bicycle to adjacent neighborhoods without crossing major roads. Mature oak and maple trees line the eastern edge, providing shade along the path and screening the park from the adjacent rail line. The park also includes a sled hill used during winter months and a small wetland area near the southwest corner that supports seasonal bird activity. Its location places it within a short walk of the Glenview Public Library and the Metra Milwaukee District North Line station, giving residents direct access to both recreational facilities and regional transit.
