Eagle Park, Naperville, IL

Eagle Park sits on the north side of Naperville, directly connected to the DuPage River Trail and the Riverwalk system. Its 40-acre layout includes a 2.8-mile paved loop, an off-leash dog area, a 30-station fitness course, and two lighted baseball fields. The park also features two playgrounds, a sledding hill, and a fishing pond stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. A 2,000-square-foot shelter with restrooms and picnic tables is available for reservation. The open terrain borders the West Branch of the DuPage River, providing level sightlines and native prairie plantings maintained by the Naperville Park District. From the main parking lot on Eagle Street, residents reach downtown Naperville’s Metra station in roughly two miles via the trail, and the I-88 interchange lies three miles north. Seasonal programs include youth baseball leagues through Naperville Little League and summer concerts at the adjacent Rotary Hill amphitheater.
