Emily Sleezer Park, Yorkville, IL

Emily Sleezer Park spans 90 acres of open space in Yorkville, featuring two miles of paved trails that connect to the Fox River Trail system. The park includes a 15-acre fishing lake stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, three playgrounds with age-specific equipment, and two lighted baseball diamonds. A 28,000-square-foot community center houses a fitness room, gymnasium, and three multipurpose rooms available for resident programs. Picnic shelters with grills and restrooms are scattered throughout the grounds, and a dog park occupies the northwest section. The park sits adjacent to the Yorkville Public Library and is less than one mile from downtown Yorkville’s retail corridor along Route 47.
