Emricson Park covers 110 acres in central Woodstock and includes a 1.8-mile paved loop trail used by residents for walking and cycling. The park features three baseball diamonds, two soccer fields, and six tennis courts, plus a playground and two picnic shelters with nearby restrooms. A fishing pond stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is accessible from a small parking area off Hayward Street. Mature trees line the northern edge, providing shade along the trail, while open turf fields occupy the southern half. The McHenry County Fairgrounds border the park to the east, and the historic Woodstock Square is a five-minute drive away. Daily Metra service to Chicago is available from the Woodstock station, located less than two miles from the park entrance.
