Erickson Park, Bolingbrook, IL

Erickson Park spans 59 acres in Bolingbrook and includes a playground, picnic shelters, and two lighted baseball fields. The park’s 1.1-mile paved loop connects to the DuPage River Trail, allowing residents to bike or walk along the DuPage River without leaving town. A fishing pond stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources provides shoreline access, while a dog park and open turf areas accommodate both pet owners and casual recreation. The park is adjacent to the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex, which offers an indoor pool and fitness center a short walk from the trailhead. Mature trees line the north and west edges, and the park’s central location places it less than two miles from the Bolingbrook Promenade retail corridor and Interstate 55.
