Falcon Park, Arlington Heights, IL

Falcon Park in Arlington Heights spans 28 acres and includes a 1.4-mile paved loop trail that connects to the village’s larger network of paths. The park features six lighted tennis courts, a playground with safety surfacing, two full-size baseball fields, and four lighted softball fields with covered dugouts. A central picnic shelter with electrical outlets and restrooms sits near a fishing pond stocked by the Park District. Mature trees line the northern edge, providing shade along the trail and a buffer between the athletic fields and adjacent residential streets. The park is located two blocks from the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line station and within one mile of the downtown business district, where grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants are concentrated. During summer months, the Park District schedules youth baseball tournaments and adult softball leagues that use the on-site fields, increasing evening activity and lighting in the area.
