Fernwood Park occupies 63 acres in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood and includes an 18-hole golf course, driving range, and miniature golf course. The park also maintains lighted tennis courts, two baseball diamonds, and a football field used by local school teams. A paved walking path circles the park perimeter and connects to the Calumet Region’s larger trail network. Picnic groves with grills and two playgrounds serve family gatherings, while the Fernwood Community Center on the grounds offers after-school programs and senior activities.
