Foley’s Pond Park occupies 21 acres along the northern edge of Highland Park, with a 2.6-mile crushed-limestone trail that circles a 10-acre pond and connects directly to the 2.4-mile Skokie River Trail. Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, bluegill, and northern pike from two ADA-accessible fishing platforms. The park also includes a playground, a picnic shelter with restrooms, and a designated dog-exercise area. During spring and fall migrations, birders record more than 150 species at the water’s edge. The park sits less than a half-mile from downtown Highland Park’s Metra station and the shops along Second Street, and it is bordered by the Highland Park Country Club golf course to the east.
Foley's Pond Park currently has 4 single family homes for sale, 2 townhouses for sale, and 2 condos for sale.
