Frank M. Loffredo Park covers 42 acres in Lake Villa and includes two lighted ball fields, four tennis courts, and a playground. A 1.3-mile paved trail loops through open fields and tree lines, connecting to the park’s fishing pond and picnic shelters. The trail links directly to the 3.5-mile Lake Villa Heritage Trail, which extends to Round Lake and provides additional mileage for walking or biking. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and ample parking are located at the main entrance on Munn Road. The park sits less than a mile from both U.S. Route 45 and the Lake Villa Metra station, giving residents quick access to shopping centers, restaurants, and commuter rail service to Chicago.
