Frontier Park spans 63 acres in central Arlington Heights and includes a 1.4-mile paved loop trail used for walking, running, and cycling. The park’s northern section features the Frontier Family Aquatic Center with two waterslides, a zero-depth entry pool, and lap lanes. The southern section contains four baseball-softball diamonds, six lighted tennis courts, and a playground with ADA-accessible equipment. A 20-acre wetland area along the park’s eastern edge is accessible via a 0.3-mile boardwalk that connects to the park’s main trail. The park sits adjacent to the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line, providing a 35-minute ride to downtown Chicago, and is one-quarter mile from the Arlington Heights Memorial Library and downtown retail corridor. Seasonal programs include youth baseball leagues, adult tennis lessons, and free outdoor fitness classes held on the central lawn.
