Golfview Park, Aurora, IL

Golfview Park spans 40 acres in Aurora’s East Side neighborhood, offering residents direct access to two playgrounds, six tennis courts, and a lighted baseball field. A 1.3-mile paved loop trail circles the park’s central pond, where anglers can fish for largemouth bass and bluegill. The park also includes a 9-hole disc golf course and three picnic shelters equipped with grills. Mature oak and maple trees provide shade along the trails and open lawns, while the park’s elevated position offers views of the surrounding residential streets. The park is located within a half-mile of the Phillips Park Zoo and the Phillips Park Golf Course, and it sits two miles from the Fox River Trail, allowing cyclists to connect to downtown Aurora and the Virgil L. Gilman Trail system. On-street parking surrounds the park, and several bus routes stop at the adjacent Montgomery Road corridor.
