Green Slopes Park, Arlington Heights, IL

Green Slopes Park covers 28 acres in north-central Arlington Heights, providing residents with direct access to both active and passive recreation. A 1.1-mile paved loop trail circles the park perimeter, connecting to the Northwest Bikeway and allowing cyclists and runners to travel south to downtown Arlington Heights without crossing major roads. Inside the park, two lighted tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and a playground with age-appropriate climbing structures and swings serve daily users. The northern section contains three multipurpose athletic fields used for youth soccer and baseball leagues. A 9-acre retention basin with native wetland plantings supports seasonal bird activity and offers benches along its edge.
