Greene Field Park, Aurora, IL

Greene Field Park in Aurora covers 60 acres at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Frontenac Street. The park includes two lighted baseball diamonds, three soccer fields, and a playground with separate age-appropriate sections. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail circles the park perimeter, connecting to the Fox River Trail for extended walking or cycling routes. The park also features a sled hill, two picnic shelters with grills, and restrooms open year-round. Open green space runs along the east side, bordered by mature trees that provide shade in summer. The park is located less than one mile from the Fox River and within three miles of downtown Aurora’s dining and shopping districts. Parking is available in two lots with a total of 180 spaces, and the park is accessible by Pace bus routes 524 and 802.
