A 1.2-mile paved loop trail winds through mature oak and hickory forest, connecting to the 6-mile Round Lake Trail system that links several neighborhoods to downtown Round Lake Beach. The park includes two playgrounds, a lighted baseball diamond, two tennis courts, and a 0.8-acre dog park with separate small- and large-dog sections. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located at the main parking lot on Hart Road. Picnic shelters with grills and electrical outlets are available by reservation through the Round Lake Area Park District. The park’s central location places residents within a 10-minute drive of Route 83 retail corridors and Metra’s North Central Service station, allowing quick access to both everyday shopping and weekday commuter service to Chicago.
