Heritage Park covers 134 acres in Oswego and includes a 3.2-mile paved trail system that connects to the Fox River Trail. The park features two large fishing ponds, an 18-hole disc golf course, and multiple picnic shelters with restrooms. Athletic facilities include lighted baseball and soccer fields, a playground with age-specific play structures, and two sand volleyball courts. A dog park occupies three fenced acres divided into separate areas for large and small dogs. The park also contains a community garden with 40 raised beds and an on-site parking lot that accommodates over 200 vehicles. Mature oak and hickory trees line the trails, and open meadows provide habitat for native prairie plants and pollinators.
